Spinal Manipulation – This is the primary method of restoring health. Dr. Gondolfo utilizes a specific structural Reflex Technique to locate spinal and extremity joint misalignments which cause nerve interference. Once these distortions are found he uses specific gentle thrusts in a corrective direction to restore normalized function to the joint complex.
Dr. Gondolfo utilizes many techniques including but not limited to Gonstead, S.O.T., Activator, Thompson, Diversified, and Webster's.
Therapeutic Modalities
Intersegmental Traction Table – A form of mechanical traction which stimulates health in tissues by stretching muscles, ligaments and joint complexes. This type of traction works the tissues which hold one joint to another. Overall body function is improved with blood flow and oxygen to discs, ligaments and muscles.
Electrical Stimulation – The primary form we use in our office is interferential stimulation which helps to reduce pain by controlling inflammation and muscle spasms.
Therapeutic Ultrasound – A deep penetrating therapeutic modality which utilizes wave energy to stimulate healing through a micro massage of tissues which increase blood flow resulting in decreased inflammation in muscles, tendons, ligaments and joint capsules.
Moist Cold Application –Promotes healing by reducing inflammation and soft tissue swelling
Moist Heat Application – Help increase circulation to promote and speed up soft tissue healing
Static Spinal Traction – Promotes healing through relieving pressure on the joints and discs of the spinal column.

Nutritional Exam – Nutritional and body systems analysis are performed by Dr. Gondolfo to evaluate for nutritional imbalances and system disturbances. In order for the body to be healthy all systems must work together and this is dependent on optimum nutrition. When nutritional needs are not met, organs /organ systems become dysfunctional which ultimately leads to disease. Ensuring that the body has what it needs to be healthy is the goal of this evaluation.
