John Comeaux, Jr. - I have been under the care of Dr. Gondolfo for about 2 years. I had been suffering from lower back pain due to a herniated disc. I was in a diving accident in 1979 which began the injury. I became a mail carrier, and the heavy lifting associated with my job exacerbated the pain. I tried doing physical therapy, as well as taking muscle relaxers to ease the pain, but they didn’t help much. My primary physician suggested back surgery, but I wanted to put that off for as long as possible. A family on my mail route suggested for me to see Dr. Gondolfo. I figured I would give it a try, even though I hadn’t seen much success with other chiropractors. My experience with Dr. Gondolfo was so different! He was so professional and even took x-rays on my first visit. I had immediate relief following my first adjustment. The relief lasted longer and longer as the treatment went on. Everything seems to function better when everything is aligned. I am able to sleep better because I am not in pain anymore. Due to the relief lasting longer and longer in between every adjustment, I am now able to just come in about once a month. Racheal Hamilton - I first began seeing Dr. Gondolfo 17 years ago! I had rotated my hips lifting something heavy, and it caused lower back pain. I struggled with the pain for over two months, then a family member referred me to Dr. Gondolfo. Within two weeks I started to see improvement. Norma Littleton - I began seeing Dr. Gondolfo in May of 2002. I had been suffering with multiple health issues for over 25 years, which included; severe sinus headaches and infections, TMJ, carpal tunnel, pain in both knees and hips, severe neck pain, pain from the upper back to the lower back, and spasms in the vocal cords which left me unable to talk; this was referenced to by another doctor as “Spasmatic Dysphonia”. At this time I was referred to see Dr. Gondolfo for chiropractic care by my Acupuncturist. During my consultation with Dr. Gondolfo I discussed with him the various issues I had been dealing with for so many years and how other doctors I had gone to see – ear, nose, and throat doctors, neurologists, and my family physician to name a few, had all suggested surgery as a cure to my problems. Dr. Gondolfo began adjusting my sinuses, my back, and my wrists, and suggested that I take liquid calcium/magnesium for the Spasmatic Dysphonia, which by the way worked within 3 days. He also suggested that I take other nutrients for my sinuses. I began to see a difference with all of my health issues within 2-3 weeks. However, I had a setback when I had to undergo major surgery and was unable to maintain my care schedule. In January of 2004 I restarted my treatment with Dr. Gondolfo, and I have seen an amazing difference in my health since then. Upon a recent re-evaluation with my neurologist, it was found that there is no evidence of carpal tunnel! I am still under Dr. Gondolfo’s care to maintain wellness and am absolutely glad I made the choice to seek chiropractic care!

Judith Ferguson - I have been coming to Comprehensive Chiropractic for about 3 months now. I began coming because I have been struggling with lower back, neck, and sciatic nerve pain for almost 3 years. I have also been suffering from severe numbness and lack of feeling in both of my hands. I was seeing my regular doctor for the pain. Crystal Tice - I began coming to see Dr. Gondolfo for chiropractic care 18 years ago. I had chronic low back pain that would radiate down the back of my legs, which I had struggled with since I was 12 years old. I played sports in high school, which increased the pain as well. I always just dealt with the pain, but I would get massages or take Tylenol or Advil when it got worse. A friend referred me to Dr. Gondolfo’s office for chiropractic care. Elsa Hernandez-Arreguin - I first brought my daughter, Elsa, to see Dr. Gondolfo when she was 10 weeks old. Since she was born, she struggled with reflux and colic. She would never sleep longer than 30 or 45 minutes at a time. She had a hard time eating - when she would eat, she would spit up a lot. She would also arch her back as if she were in pain, and she would basically cry all the time. When I took her to see her pediatrician, they just told me that she had colic and reflux and to try having her sleep in various upright positions. For 30 years I dealt with migraines I didn’t know what was causing them except the possibility that it ran in my family. For at least 3 years I had been dealing with sharp, stabbing pains in my left hip joint. At times I couldn’t sit or stand for long periods and I walked with a limp. I first started coming to Comprehensive Chiropractic in 2004. I heard about Dr. Gondolfo from my friend, I had always thought chiropractic care was a good thing but just didn’t think I needed it. My job required lifting and pulling so of course that can lead to health problems, and it did! I started to have upper back pain, and tingling in both hands. I was told that I had arthritis. I had a MRI done, I tried using ice and I tried taking Aleve to get rid of the pain but nothing seemed to work. I did a corrective care plan with Dr. Gondolfo and it took me months to feel relief, it got worse before it got better but after coming in I realized how much I needed chiropractic care and soon I was feeling better and just visiting on a maintenance basis. Then in 2009 I got into an auto accident I started to get headaches, I could not turn my neck without pain and it was achy all the time, my left hand had started tingling and I started to experience upper back pain. I started to see Dr. Gondolfo again on a more intense three times a week schedule and now I am back to pre-auto accident status! For two years I was getting a tingling feeling in my hands, pain in my lower back and hips, and migraines 2-3 times a month that lasted 2-3 days. Over the past year the pain got worse and the migraines started increasing to 4-5 times a month. For about two years prior to the summer of 2004 I had been suffering with back, neck and shoulder pain as well as relentless acid reflux. I thought that the back, neck and shoulder pain I was experiencing was just something that came with working every day and getting older. Even though I was in pain every day and every night I had resigned myself to the attitude that I would just have to live with the pain. The acid reflux however, became so severe that I couldn’t live with it. I sought the help of physicians and specialists trying to find out why I was experiencing acid reflux even though I tried to control it with diet, prescriptions and over the counter medicines. Even after undergoing diagnostic testing in the form of MRI’s, sonograms, endoscopies, and stress tests, the specialists still had no answers and I still had not found relief. I had never thought of seeing a chiropractor for something like acid reflux but by this point I reasoned I had tried everything else. My consultation and exam with Dr. Gondolfo were comprehensive and informative. Upon examining my X-Ray films Dr. Gondolfo was able to spot areas of disc compression in my cervical spine that no other doctor had even noticed before, despite the battery of tests they had ordered. Within just one month I started to gain relief from my neck, back and shoulder pain and to my surprise my acid reflux. It’s amazing how chiropractic treatment was able to reduce my acid reflux to the point where I rarely experience it at all. That’s something none of the prescription and over the counter medicines I tried could do. I was delighted to discover that with regular adjustments I was sleeping better, felt more energized and was feeling better overall than I had in years.
